✨ SENIOR SUNDAY ✨ We’re kicking off our Class of 2027 Senior Sundays with Mia A.! Mia has been part of the Incline family for all 10 seasons, making it extra special to begin this year’s senior celebrations with her. Mia shares, “As I head into my 10th and final season at Incline, I can’t help but feel so grateful for every moment I’ve spent here. Incline has truly been a second home to me, where I’ve made endless memories, grown as a gymnast and as a person, and met so many amazing friends that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Gymnastics has been such a huge part of my life, and while it is one of the most challenging sports, it has also been one of the most rewarding. I’ve truly loved every second of it and am so thankful for all the lessons, challenges, and memories it has given me. I’m still undecided on where I’ll attend college, but I plan to pursue a career in nursing and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes me. Thank you, Incline, for 10 unforgettable years! 🤍” Can’t wait to watch you shine in this chapter and the next! Congratulations, Mia!!

Happy 4th of July! As a reminder, Incline Gymnastics will be closed on July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Tuition for all Recreational and Preschool classes has been prorated to accommodate this closure. All team practices have been canceled, and there will be no make-up practices for this closure. This includes Purple Home Team, Xcel Pre-Team, and Xcel Bronze. We hope your family enjoys a day filled with sunshine, BBQs, fireworks, fun adventures, and quality time with loved ones. We were honored to host the Special Olympics Colorado State Meet and witness firsthand what happens when hard work, resilience, and joy take center stage! Thank you to the athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and Special Olympics Colorado for allowing us to be a small part of something so meaningful!

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up for our annual clean out day! From updated lighting and blown out ceilings to pit cleaning, equipment maintenance, and lots of deep scrubbing… this gym got some serious love this past weekend. We truly couldn’t do it without our incredible community of families. Thank you for helping us create a safe, clean, and refreshed space for our athletes to grow in every day. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back after the long weekend!

It’s only appropriate that our final Senior Sunday for the class of 2026 is Oliver P! Oliver shares, “Unfortunately, my time at Incline is coming to a close. Fortunately, Coach Ben won’t be getting his $20 back. Although I didn’t start my gymnastics career at Incline, the last four years have given me countless memories and indelibly shaped my character. Being an Incline gymnast has taught me to be organized, committed, and wholehearted in everything I do. Thanks to my many coaches and teammates, I have grown as a person and now feel more prepared to confront the inevitable challenges of life. Special shout to my predecessors Kyle Criger, Nick Studdard, and Sam Johnson. Practice has always felt like a safe and encouraging place for learning and self-improvement. After graduating I plan on attending CU Boulder, much to Christi’s dismay, and studying biology with the intent of going to PA school. Although I don’t exactly know what my future holds, I’m comforted in knowing I’ll be taking the lifelong memories I’ve made here with me. I’ll always be whatever the * an Incline is. Keeping Senior Sunday going with Adin R! Adin shares, “Gymnastics has taught me lessons that go far beyond scores or medals. I’ve been challenged both physically and mentally. Along the way, I learned that not succeeding and failing are two very different things. Not succeeding means you are still learning; failing only happens when you give up. That mindset has shaped how I approach challenges in and out of the gym. Early in my career, an injury took away skills I had worked hard to achieve and hurt my confidence. Watching others succeed made me question whether I was good enough, and for a time I stopped pushing myself because I was afraid to fail again. With support from my coaches and teammates, I rebuilt my strength and confidence. Gymnastics taught me that growth comes from trying again with more experience and courage. Incline has been more than just a place to train, it has been a second home. My coaches and teammates created an environment that pushed me to improve while supporting me through difficult moments. Their belief in me helped me reach goals like placing well at Regionals and competing at Western Nationals. Coaching younger athletes at Incline has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey. It showed me how important encouragement and patience are in helping athletes grow. Incline taught me the value of teamwork, resilience, and creating a place where athletes feel safe to learn and make mistakes. After graduation, I plan to attend Creighton University Heider College of Business, where I will double major in Business Intelligence & Analytics and Business Management. While my competitive gymnastics career may change, I plan to stay involved in the sport through coaching and mentoring. To younger athletes: don’t be afraid of mistakes. Not succeeding is part of improving, but giving up is the only real failure. Trust the process and enjoy your time in the gym because the lessons you learn there will stay with you for life. Thank you to my family, coaches, and teammates who supported me every step of the way. None of this journey would have been possible without you.” Wishing you all the best Adin!

BIG NEWS for Charlotte! Sometimes the path changes, but the dream stays the same. When one door closes, the right doors open! We are so excited to share that Charlotte has found her new home with Towson Gymnastics! We are incredibly grateful to the Towson staff for enthusiastically welcoming her and giving her the opportunity to continue pursuing her dream of competing in collegiate gymnastics. Charlotte’s resilience, determination, and love for the sport have been on full display through this process, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way she has handled every step. Towson is getting an incredible athlete, teammate, and person. The next chapter starts now! Goh Tigers!

Another Senior Sunday with Marcela G! Marcela shares, “Throughout my life I’ve played many sports but nothing compares to gymnastics. This sport has given me lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Every coach I’ve had has inspired me to become the best version of myself by believing in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. I am so grateful to have spent the past four years with my Incline family. This gym has truly been my safe place surrounded by the most loving and supportive teammates. Here, I’ve accomplished more than I ever imagined and learned lessons that will stay with me for the rest of my life. While it’s bittersweet knowing my gymnastics career will come to an end in a few months, I’m excited for the next chapter. I plan to attend an out-of-state college and pursue a major in neuroscience, carrying everything this sport and this family have given me into whatever comes next 🩵” Congratulations Marcela, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

Sun, sand, and sticking routines ☀️🌊✨ This past weekend our Xcel Gold & Diamond teams took on the Coastal Classic & what an incredible experience it was for these athletes! From traveling with your best friends to competing in an amazing arena and soaking in a little beach time in between, this trip was one to remember. We are so proud of the way these athletes showed up! They were confident, focused, and ready to perform. Lots of personal bests were achieved and some team records were broken. That’s what happens when hard work meets opportunity! Huge congratulations to our Gold & Diamond athletes and coaches on a fantastic meet!

Keeping Senior Sunday going with Faith S. Faith shares, “Gymnastics has truly shaped me into the person I am today. It has taught me resilience, discipline, patience, and how to reach for my goals, even when they feel impossible. There were many highs and lows throughout my gymnastics career, and progress wasn’t always linear, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m so thankful to be able to take all of these lessons with me as I begin the next chapter of my life. If I could give any advice to younger athletes, it would be to enjoy the journey and remember to celebrate your little milestones. I am also so grateful to Incline. Not only for giving me a family and friendships that I will cherish forever, but for teaching me that it was always about so much more than just gymnastics. After graduation, I plan to study biology in college and pursue a career in the medical field. Thank you Incline for everything!” Cheering you on in your next chapter! It’s Senior Sunday with Charlotte H! Charlotte shares, “Gymnastics has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since the time I could walk, the gym has been my second home. This sport has taught me so many life lessons with one of the biggest being resilience. Despite tearing my ACL and losing a coach at a young age, I have never lost my love for gymnastics or for my team. Incline is a family that can never be replaced, and one I am grateful to carry with me into my next chapter. I am excited to continue my gymnastics career at Iowa State while studying Biology, bringing the lessons and foundation Incline has given me into everything that comes next. Thank you Incline and Go Cyclones!” 🌪️

Senior Sunday spotlight on Connor W.! Connor shares, “Gymnastics has been one of the biggest parts of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything it has given me. This sport has grown with me and stayed by my side through every high and low. It has taught me persistence, dedication, discipline, how to be a supportive teammate, and countless other positive values and skills. There were definitely times when gymnastics pushed me further than I thought I was ready for, but looking back, I’m thankful for those moments as they helped shape who I am today. I wouldn’t be the person I am without this sport, my coaches, my teammates, and everyone who supported my passion. After graduation, I plan to study Finance, with either a concentration or minor in Real Estate. I’m still undecided on where I want to pursue this degree, but I’m confident that wherever I go, I’ll be prepared because of my time at Incline Gymnastics.”

Starting off Senior Sunday for the class of 2026 with Maya W! Maya shares, “Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I can remember, and has truly shaped me into who I am today. It has taught me everything from commitment to perseverance and everything in between. Incline has been nothing short of amazing to me, all the girls are like my family and the culture here is unmatched. I have grown up in this gym, being there since the day it opened, and wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. From every injury to every new skill I’m thrilled to have gone through it with everyone I did here at Incline. Post graduation I plan on perusing my dream of being a labor and delivery nurse! I am undecided exactly where I want to go to college yet, but where ever I end up, I am so excited for the journey. Incline Gymnastics hosted Gymnastics Progressions Coaches Summit and Impact Camp this past weekend! Justin, along with the GP clinicians, including Mary Lee, Gretchen, Julian, Siara & Mary, generously shared a wealth of knowledge and experience with coaches and athletes from around the state and beyond! GP truly had it all! Clinicians delivered education, inspiration, program planning, skill development, and an abundance of energy! Incline Gymnastics is excited to host the expert clinicians from Gymnastics Progressions! As a reminder, we have the following class schedule changes…. Friday 8/22 No morning preschool classes All evening recreational, preschool & team classes are running on their regular schedule. Saturday 8/23 & Sunday 8/24 No recreational, preschool or team classes *team programs may have modified practices due to the GP Impact Camp. Please refer to communication from your Program Director for any potential schedule changes.

Parent volunteers with the @inclinegymnasticsboosterclub moved 8740 lbs of peaches and 772 jars of salsa and jam! Thank you to everyone who took on the heavy lifting with such a positive and collaborative spirit! Your efforts are truly appreciated! Enjoy the peaches!!

The Xcel Silver Ladies came in hot at their State Meet last month, finished with a huge 115.0, and earned a big 3rd place! It’s always an honor to host the Special Olympics State Championship! These amazing athletes and their coaches have worked hard and it shows! Congratulations to all! Thank you to everyone who donated their time and talents to make this event so memorable!

It’s our final Senior Sunday for the class of 2025! Today we are celebrating Dylan S. as she completes her club and high school journey and heads off to the Air Force Academy in a few short weeks for basic training! Dylan shares, “Gymnastics has been a constant in my life for over 15 years, and for the past 4 years, Incline has been my home. This sport has taught me perseverance, leadership, and a strong work ethic. But one of the most meaningful lessons I’ve learned as an Incline gymnast is how to create and cultivate the kind of environment you want to be part of. Training in a positive, uplifting atmosphere isn’t something every gymnast experiences, but I’ve been incredibly fortunate to learn how to nurture and grow that environment. As I prepare to attend the United States Air Force Academy and continue gymnastics there, I know the next chapter will bring its own challenges and tough environments. However, thanks to everything I’ve learned at Incline and through my gymnastics career, I’m confident I’ll be ready to face them. While I’m still unsure about what I want to study, I’m excited to explore my passions as the school year begins. Thank you, Incline, you truly mean the world to me.”

Senior Sunday with Victoria K! Victoria shares, “Throughout my whole gymnastics career I’ve learned so much! I’ve battled many injuries and struggles but always looked ahead and kept going. Incline was like my second home, my teammates were like my sisters, I could talk to them about everything and help me push to my goals. I’m so grateful to my coaches for striving to help achieve my college goals. My parents also helped me so much with the recruiting process and supporting me throughout my whole gymnastics career! Next year I will be at San Jose State University to continue my athletic and academic journey. Go Spartans!” We are so excited to have another Spartan in the house! Congratulations Victoria, we will be cheering you on!!
